Perfect for :

Learn to Read! is a flash card deck of sight words, used in elementary schools across the United States to help children learn the building blocks of reading.
Complete with easy-to-read text, voice prompts, and example usages, Learn To Read! is an effective learning tool on a fun medium for children.
And on the iPhone, learning is on-hand for whenever the opportunity arises - waiting for food at a restaurant, an appointment at a doctor's office, or on a playdate.
Learn to Read! comes with complete lists of the five levels of sight words, also known as the Dolch Word List. This is a standard sight word list used throughout American schools. From 50 to 75 percent of all words used in school books, library books, newspapers, and magazines are in the Dolch Basic Sight Vocabulary of 220 words. They are "service words" (pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and verbs) which cannot be learned through the use of pictures and only through sight recognition and memory.
Practice makes perfect, so help your child develop their reading skills and excel in school by using Learn to Read! and keep an opportunity to learn ready and waiting in your back pocket.
Endorsed and recommended by teachers around the country!
"I encourage parents to practice sight words with their children whenever they can with school supplied flash cards, but these tend to get misplaced and opportunities are lost. If a parent has an iPhone, I'm almost requiring them to buy Learn To Read so that they have no excuse!"

"I can't emphasize the importance enough of lots of loving practice at home with sight words - these lay the foundation for a lifetime of reading. I recommend anything that helps parents practice more with their kids, and Learn To Read! fits that to a T"
